Fused magnesia

It is an alkaline refractory material made of natural magnesite, light burned magnesia (containing natural  sea (brine) water)  sintered magnesia fused by electric arc furnace. 97 fused magnesia is made of magnesite, brucite  magnesium hydroxide extracted  seawater by high temperature calcination. It has strong hydration resistance.

Fused magnesia is a general term for magnesite  other magnesite raw materials which are sintered by high temperature treatment. Using shaft kiln, rotary kiln  other high-temperature equipment for one-time calcination  two-step calcination process, the magnesia fired with natural magnesite as raw material is called sintered magnesia; the magnesia melted by electric arc furnace  cooled is called fused magnesia; the magnesia extracted  seawater is called seawater magnesia. Magnesia is one of the most important raw materials for refractories. It is used to make all kinds of magnesia bricks, magnesia alumina bricks, ramming materials  furnace mending materials. Those with more impurities are used to lay steel-making furnace bottom.
