It is an alkaline refractory material made of natural magnesite, light burned magnesia (containing natural sea (brine) water) sintered magnesia fused by electric arc furnace. 97 fused magnesia is made of magnesite, brucite magnesium hydroxide extracted seawater by high temperature calcination. It has strong hydration resistance.
Fused magnesia is a general term for magnesite other magnesite raw materials which are sintered by high temperature treatment. Those with more impurities are used to lay steel-making furnace bottom.
